From 1988 to 1991, David served as a combat medic, treating soldiers in Kentucky at Fort Knox and in Kansas at Fort Leavenworth.

David’s service to his country allowed him to follow his dream of going to college to become a mortician, where he could continue serving those in need of help.

Having put his final arrangements in place, David has gone through the process of securing his own military funeral and burial benefits and takes great pleasure in helping other veterans complete the same process so they can receive the honor they deserve.
